  Had the lunch special delicious  and very inexpensive..

  Taste of China is a nice little restaurant that appears clean.
  
  I ordered General Tso's chicken and the flavor was good.  However, the chicken was in huge larger than golf ball sizes.  It was tough to cut and eat.  
  
  It tastes so much better to have the chicken cut in small bite sized pieces.  I've always eaten it this way at other restaurants.
  
  I have no reason to return to eat these huge chunks of chicken.

  Let me first say this 5 stars is initially based on what this business is to the community. A great varied Asian menu that in short time will have delivery. This appears to be a family based business. I met the mother and adult daughter, both of which were very nice. Mom is a no BS lady is working extremely hard to crank out some food for the masses. I have read on other review sites of people criticizing this family's language excellence and so forth and I think it is unwarranted. While I was in the restaurant to pick up my food a man came in and said " Do.   You.   Have    A.   Menu ?  ".  The owner said we do.  He then said Gracias twice.  The entire world is not chicken strips and ranch and country English.  The food service business is not easy money.  If we want more diversity in our restaurants in Montgomery please be kind to hard working families bringing just that.
  
  Now for the rest.  There is a nice combo of American Chinese dishes as well as some various Thai dishes.  They have it set up well so that if you pick your sauce or preparation you can then pick your protein or vegetable to suit yourself.  The food has a great amount of spice and flavor.  The restaurant has an online menu and will eventually have online ordering.  This is not spectacular unless you live in Montgomery and know that China Express take out only can't figure out how to get their menu online in the last 10 years.  This place also picked up the phone on the first try which is only special if you have hit redial for Garden Lake 18 times in a row.
  
  As my family and I order from here in the months to come I will update my review with more specifics on the food. For now. Bye bye China Express and Garden Lake.

  This is the best Chinese food place in my life!!! Tho it kinda smelt weird but that's nothing it was just another persons food. :)

  Didn't even get a chance to order food because the customer service was so bad. Read all the good reviews and tried to give it a shot. However, they are extremely rude on the phone.
  
  My kid wanted orange chicken and lo Mein noodles instead of rice. Asking this was like asking them to cure cancer.
  
  They refused to give me noodles with orange chicken and hung up on me after I said I'm not paying $7 for a side of noodles. Guess they don't want my business.
